1-Wire/Analog IN/Digital IN/Digital OUT

In addition to wired interfaces based on RS-485 or RS-232/M-Bus, the RmCU can also integrate digital input, 1-wire, and analog input functions based on PT1000, 0(4)-20 mA, or 0-10 V.

1-Wire

1-Wire is a serial communication protocol over a two-wire line and is primarily used for temperature sensors.

Analog Input

The RmCU offers the possibility to capture analog input signals via 8 connection terminals.

The eight analog inputs can be individually configured depending on the application. The following options are available:
  • four PT1000 temperature sensors, two inputs for 0(4)-20 mA current signals & two inputs for 0-10 V voltage signals
  • Eight inputs for 0(4)-20 mA current signals
  • Eight inputs for 0-10 voltage signals
  • Eight inputs for PT1000 temperature sensors

Digital Input / Output

The RmCU has four digital inputs for recording, switching and status signals. These enable the direct connection of contacts, push buttons, relays, or other digital signal sources from the field.

In addition, two galvanically isolated relay outputs can be installed in the RmCU, enabling safe control of external components.
