Product launch: The new software-based data logger and multi-protocol gateway for your energy technology project – the vRmCU
The vRmCU is the virtual version of the proven RmCU data logger, running on Linux systems and supporting a wide range of common energy, industrial, and IoT protocols including LoRaWAN. Thanks to its high scalability and flexible integration, it is ideally suited for demanding energy technology projects within existing private or cloud-based system environments.
The vRmCU is the virtual variant of our proven RmCU data logger and can be operated either on a virtual machine or on a physical Linux system. It supports all IP-based protocols commonly used in energy technology for data acquisition at field level, such as Modbus TCP Client, BACnet IP Client, OPC UA Client, and MQTT Subscriber, as well as the following communication protocols for connection to various head-end systems (e.g. energy management systems, building management systems, and process control systems): Modbus TCP Server, BACnet IP Server, OPC UA Server, JSON API, MQTT Publisher, MQTT Broker, and cyclic data transmission (XML, CSV, JSON files via HTTPS, SFTP, SMTP). In addition, the vRmCU can be used as a LoRaWAN Network Server and Application Server to reliably manage even large-scale LoRaWAN networks. By running on standard IT infrastructures, the vRmCU is flexibly scalable both vertically and horizontally and is well equipped for demanding applications. As a result, the vRmCU is the right choice for your energy technology project and can be seamlessly integrated into existing private or cloud-based head-end systems.
