third-party measurement

third-party measurement

Third-party metering is defined in PTB-A 50.7. If the electricity meter has a calibrated data storage device with 15-minute values, the "device that additionally displays the values" (i.e., RmCU or LoRa base station and the higher-level portal for visualizing the measured values) is exempt from mandatory calibration. For this to apply, the system must ensure that the electricity meter's clock is regularly synchronized.
